Is There Recovery Time Post-treatment?
With Restylane® Refyne results are immediately visible. Upon treatment, slight redness, swelling, and tenderness is completely normal. You may feel some discomfort, which is temporary and typically disappears within a few days.
Does A Restylane® Defyne Treatment Hurt?
The treatment is minimally invasive and relatively painless. Injections may cause some temporary discomfort during and after treatment.
How Does Restylane® Combat Signs Of Aging?
As skin ages, it naturally slows the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid, a naturally present and produced substance in the body, which plays an essential role in hydrating the skin and restoring natural volume. There are several types of dermal fillers, one being hyaluronic acid. All Restylane® products are transparent hyaluronic acids, which are sugars naturally found in the skin that help provide hydration, fullness and elasticity.
Can Restylane® Be Removed?
No. However, results are temporary and restylane dissolves naturally over time. To achieve your desired outcome, our Silk team of experts work with you to understand your goals and provide natural-looking results. Treatment can be done over time to gradually achieve your goal in several sessions.
Are There Any Side Effects Of Restylane® Defyne?
Common side effects include swelling (other than the desired lip augmentation, i.e. unwanted swelling), tenderness, redness, bruising, itching, and pain. When these events were reported by subjects in clinical studies, the majority were tolerable and most resolved within two weeks. Other, less common side effects may also occur.
Do not use if you have severe allergies with a history of severe reactions (anaphylaxis), are allergic to lidocaine or gram-positive bacterial proteins used to make hyaluronic acid, prone to bleeding, or have a bleeding disorder.
